Week 37 - Quarantine Party

 Hey there!

This week was a bit of an odd one. So on Monday, one of the elders in my district was SUPER sick, and Sister Astle and I also weren't feeling too hot. Well, what do you do in 2020 when you don't feel good? You get a COVID test and quarantine! What a party. As a result, the two family history sisters who were staying with us got quarantined too until we got our results back. Don't feel too sorry for me though--this week was one of the most fun weeks I've had on the mission! The sisters staying with us are so much fun and incredibly sweet. We were laughing just about every second of every day. Every night was another adventure!

The only downside really was that we had to Zoom into zone conference. It was still incredible though! Zone conference is a big old spiritual overload of information and inspiration, and it's amazing.

Yesterday was such a good day as well. We had testimony meeting, and we got to have a young women's class that we got to sit in on. The best part of the day though was later in the evening. We also have some traveling music missionaries going around the mission, and they were in Dickinson yesterday and did a musical devotional thing at the church with organ and piano arrangements of hymns. Man, music brings the spirit to my heart like none other. I'm so glad we had our negative results come back in time for us to go! It was incredible.

Another big highlight was  Like Iro. It's up in Killdeer, and it is stunning right now! The leaves are all changing colors, and it was kind of the best thing ever. We took SO many pictures! We want to go back there just to do our studies on the lake shore sometime.

Sorry, not too much to report I'm afraid. I hope y'all have a great week though, and write again next Monday!
