Week 68 - Minnesota, Audits, Baptismal Dates, Service, and More

 WOW.

This week was absolutely insane and incredible. I have time for the highlights and brief synapses and not much else. BUT. I have a lot of pictures, which, rumor has it, are worth thousands of words.

So, early in the week was consumed by doing area book planner audits (almost none of you know what that means, but think hours of mundane, mind numbing drudgery). We had a hard deadline for Thursday evening, and we got it done in the knick of time!

On Thursday, we also went and did landscaping at the Dakota Zoo for service! That was a lot of fun, and a lot of leaves! We filled up 5 barrels of leaves by the end of it. It felt good to go and do some physical labor though, even if it did result in me getting a stupid horse fly bite. It also inspired today's expedition to the zoo for simple pleasure. Good times.

Friday we went and helped out my favorite members EVER with some yard work, and we then got fed lunch AND they gave us road trip snacks--including licorice! My road trip must-have staple! We then headed off on a 6 hour trip to Bemidji, MN for the baptism of a man Sisters Call and Murri taught. We got in late Friday night, spent the day in Bemidji seeing sights while still contacting our members and doing our office work. Best day ever. Saturday evening was the baptism, then we headed straight from there to Fargo, and didn't get in until after 11:00, to then hit the road again at 7:00am the next morning.

We had to leave that early on Sunday so that we could be back in Bismarck in time for our lesson with Tiffany and Tara at 11:00, which went SO well and they are going to be getting baptized on May 29!!!!!! Wow, absolute miracles.

This morning we had a lesson with Sheila, and she is just incredible. She just celebrated her 75th birthday on Tuesday too! She had read the introduction pages of the Book of Mormon several times through and was so excited about it all!! Man, she's the next one in the font for sure. I love her so much and can't wait to see her in person when we go back up to McClusky on May 15th to do more family history with them. She also apparently told all of her family and friends about Family Search this past week too haha. She's the best.

Told you it was a lot! And I left a ton of things out. Well, not really, just left details and things out. There is SO much more I could have told you all. It was such an amazing week.

I hope all of you have an AMAZING week this week! I love you all and will talk to you again next Monday!
